The Beauty Event is an in-store and online promotional event that occurs each season at Neiman Marcus. The campaign consists of in-store signage and displays, an editorial mailer, and other printed pieces. There are also supporting email banners and site updates rolled out by the web design team using the provided artwork and concepts.

An editorial mailer is sent out to the most exclusive customers that shop at Neiman Marcus. After attending presentations by the beauty buyers and gathering which products and trends will be featured in the campaign, I collaborated with the art director and copy editor on photography, design, and editorial story ideas.

These stories are illustrated through the unique "shelfie" photography. The highlighter graphic elements incorporated throughout the book help to accentuate the idea of a beauty guidebook.

MAY 2018 BEAUTY EVENT

The May 2018 Beauty Event continues to evolve the "shelfie" concept by pairing images of clean, minimal counters and shelves with portrait-style "selfies". These images feature women in the process of their beauty routine using various different products for different occasions.
